Meet the Band
The Rusty Strings Band is a group of senior musicians who love bringing upbeat, toe‑tapping music to local senior centers. We call our approach “Seniors Entertaining Seniors” because we share the same life experiences, the same humor, and the same joy that comes from good music and good company.
We play mostly upbeat bluegrass, along with familiar country favorites and a handful of oldies that everyone loves to sing along with. Our goal is simple: create an hour of fun, energy, and nostalgia that leaves our audience smiling.
The Rusty Strings Band has been performing at senior centers throughout the area for over 18 months, with more than 70 performances completed. We’ve built wonderful relationships with many centers, and we’d love the opportunity to bring that same joy to yours.
Our performances are crafted to bring joy and spark memories, especially for residents in senior living communities. We focus on familiar songs, appropriate volume, and creating an engaging atmosphere where everyone feels invited to sing along, tap their toes, and enjoy the moment.
